We can provide an equine therapy class to four middle school girls that is proven to have a positive impact on personal growth and honor the memory of Charlotte

Hi everyone:

I am a board member for REINS, Inc. Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies. I just started a fundraiser to sponsor a class that one of our 11-year old young riders, Charlotte would have been in if she would not have taken her life last month. Unfortunately, Charlotte's story is all too common for children who have survived abuse and continue to struggle with pressures of current peer relationships as they move through the middle school years. Like Charlotte, these girls are often victims of bullying and have trouble finding their place and voice as they transition to young adulthood and that some are lost during this time to suicide like Charlotte.

Please help me reach my goal to provide a class to four middle school girls that is proven to have a positive impact on personal growth with focus areas of self-confidence, awareness of self and others, relationships, trust, friendship, teamwork, and attitude:#forCharlotte
